Help! I just bought a used 2019 CR-V (85k kms) from a Honda dealership. After using it for 8 months, one morning, I got all the lights on the dashboard lighting up. I can’t use cruise control or Lane Keep Assist and even AWD. I thought it would go over time but it didn’t and the issue stayed the same for 3 days. Tried resetting the dashboard etc. but nothing.
Took it to the dealership and they, as usual, changed the fuel injectors for $100 CAD. They then asked me to leave the car because one of the front sensors was broken. And they would need to replace it. The cost would be around $691 CAD.
Can you let me know if I’m getting scammed with $100 fuel injectors as they are costly?
Has anyone faced this issue and if so how do these sensors break?
I don’t have firsthand knowledge on that car, but usually when all the dash lights start wigging out, you likely have a low battery. I once saved a guy from having to buy injectors by running CRC turbo cleaner through the engine.

You mean 1000 for the injectors not 100, right?
No, he said it would cost me 100 CAD, out of which 50 is covered by the protection plan I had taken from them earlier. I’m not sure how I should go about this. I’m taking the car from the dealership tomorrow. Should I ask them how it costs just 100 CAD to replace fuel injectors?
Hey, I just went through something very similar with all the lights on. Just to double-check, does your check engine light come on as well or everything else except the check engine?
I asked this because my 2017 CR-V has everything except the check engine, so I didn’t think it was the fuel injector. Luckily my mechanic helped me with code reading, and one item, which was my rear ABS speed sensor, was giving out irregular speeds, which was tripping up the ABS system and subsequently throwing all the other sensors off. I replaced the speed sensor and cleaned the wheel bearing; everything is back to normal with no issues.
Not saying this is your issue but worth taking a look. You can buy a cheap OBD reader off Amazon and read the codes. The dealer doesn’t care and changing the fuel injectors might not fix the issue if that wasn’t the problem in the first place.

Hey, firstly thank you for writing this. I have exactly the same issue and the check engine light is not lighting up. Just everything else. The dealership has identified the issue as the front-end sensor being broken and they told me they are replacing it (charging me 659 CAD). I’ll keep in mind to get an OBD reader for the future.
