We just got our car, and I’ve started noticing a lot of issues with it. Are the concerns being raised about the 2025 CR-V overblown?
Yes, there are some recalls, but Honda will take care of them. What specific issues are you referring to? I’ve had mine for over a year with no problems. No car is perfect, but with so many CR-Vs sold, a few issues are expected. The loud complaints often overshadow the satisfaction of numerous customers.
@Payton
I’m talking about the fuel injector problems and reports of cars stopping in the middle of the freeway, which is quite scary.
I have a 2023 Touring model and have had zero issues.

I completely agree. This is the best car I’ve ever owned.
I believe the issues have been exaggerated. Any fuel injector problems will be covered under warranty. Anecdotally, I know some CR-Vs used for Uber and couriers with over 100k miles have faced no issues apart from standard maintenance. There are no recalls affecting the 2025 model to my knowledge, only the 2023-2024.
@Keegan
I generally agree, but my 2025 model purchased in August is included in the recall. Fortunately, neither my car nor my wife’s 2024 model has sticky steering, so I’m willing to wait a bit.

Fuel injector issues and reports of cars stalling on the freeway.
I have a 2023 CR-V with 110k miles and the only issue was a wheel bearing.

Impressive! How did you rack up that many miles?

Maybe that’s in kilometers, not miles.
These recalls are significant, but they are not as severe as what you might find with some American and Korean brands.
When I went to buy my CR-V, there was a stop sale on the model I wanted. By the time I left, the dealer unloaded a different vehicle without recalls, suggesting that any issues may have been resolved.
I got my 2025 model in June and have had no issues at all.
I have a 2023 hybrid Touring model with two minor warranty issues. Overall, it’s been a solid car. Issues often seem to be exaggerated on forums.
If you bought recently, newer 2025 models likely weren’t involved in the recall. I purchased mine the day before and it wasn’t affected. It’s unfortunate that I didn’t get the color I wanted, but my car has been great with no complaints.
@True
My 2025 is at the dealer waiting for tools and parts before they can sell it to me due to the fuel pump recall. The manager mentioned not all VINs are affected.

Are you in California?
@Zenith
No, I’m in Alberta, Canada.
