Hey everyone! I’m about to take the plunge and get a 2025 CRV Touring, but I’m torn between going with Silver or Black. What do you guys think? Which color looks better in your opinion? Appreciate any advice. Thanks!
Every CRV I’ve owned has been white with black trim because I love how it gives off those stormtrooper vibes.
One thing to keep in mind though—the dark interior can get pretty hot, especially with the leather in the Touring.
The only downside for me is the lack of ventilated seats, but aside from that, this is by far the best CRV I’ve ever had. You’re gonna love it!
Just grabbed a Canyon River Blue Touring yesterday! I’ve been driving either silver or black Toyota Tacomas and 4Runners for years. Plus, I’ve had a white work truck for almost 30 years now, and honestly, white with black accents always reminds me of a stormtrooper helmet from Star Wars. Guess that’s just my generation!
Just got the black one, and it’s staying in the garage. I’m planning to get a ceramic coating since we live in a pretty rainy area. Even with it being garaged, I know it’s still going to show everything. We also considered dark gray (which wouldn’t have been much better) and the light gray, which I actually thought looked really good. We’ve had a lot of silver cars, so we wanted to switch it up this time.
I’ve owned 3 black cars, and yeah, they look amazing, but be ready for weekly washes! A car wash membership definitely comes in handy.
That said, I’m picking up my Canyon Blue Touring tomorrow! Can’t wait to share some pics. Planning to tint the front windows and black out the emblems too.
Black is the way to go if you’ve got a garage and don’t mind washing it often to keep it looking fresh. I would’ve gone with black too, but since I park outside, I went with white instead. No regrets so far!
I went with the black! Ask me about my car wash expenses… just kidding! It’s actually not as bad as you’d think. I’m getting it ceramic coated soon, and when I picked it up, I didn’t even let the dealer wash or touch it!
The detail shop doing the coating has this awesome maintenance program—weekly hand washes (no automatic washes allowed) and monthly detailing. It’s a bit more commitment than I expected, but totally worth it.
That crystal black paint shines like a mirror, and the subtle glitter gives off this amazing purple-blue glow in the light. I’m beyond happy with my black-on-black setup. It’s sleek and doesn’t scream for attention unless you really know what you’re looking at.
Funny enough, I used to drive a bright blue Kia Soul with my favorite sports team’s wrap. So, it’s a nice change to have something understated but still stunning.
Silver’s definitely easier to keep clean, but man, black is where it’s at!
