Just picked up the new 2025 hybrid.
Congratulations on your new ride!
CR-Vs are the best Hondas in my opinion, along with the sadly gone Fit.

I’m so glad I own both a 2011 Fit Sport and 2004 CR-V LX 2WD.
You’ll miss the first gen! Congrats!

Congrats on your new purchase! Check the horn to see if you like it, and you may want to invest in a spare tire, otherwise you’re still on the road until someone can help.
@Remy
Bruh. Where do you live to have so few miles on a vehicle? That’s wild.
Did you sell your gen 1?

I traded it in.

How much did they give for trade-in value?
$750; which is kinda BS, but with 239k miles, a bunch of damage from stuff I’ve hit, and peeling paint. It’s also been stolen before.
Congrats on the new whip. I picked up the '23 hybrid from this same dealership. Just an FYI, Gardena Honda is no bueno.

Dude, they were so frustrating.
They should’ve given you a good discount and taken your CR-V to display in their showroom after restoring it.

It’s a classic car!

Yes it is! Ask them if they can restore it and showcase it in the used car salesroom. That’s what they did with an S2000 at my Honda dealership. This CR-V generation is rare now, so it’d be appealing to customers.
What are you liking most about your new CR-V? The get-up-and-go is probably night and day.

It’s so smooth and very responsive. I was too nervous to drive on the freeway yesterday, but I’m looking forward to camping with it. It’s nice to have a reliable car. My 1st gen was amazing for a long time, but it was getting more costly to fix and more unreliable. It made me nervous to take it out to Death Valley in case there were issues.
I’m so excited about the hybrid and AWD, plus the bells and whistles: heated seats, Apple CarPlay.
I will admit I feel like it’s a bit harder to see out of! Since the 1st gen is more boxy.
