That was in Canadian dollars so about $33k USD. Seems like car dealers in the USA charge a bit more. If you check out Honda USA, you can see the trims and get a starting price there, at least that’s how it is with Honda Canada.
The base MSRP for that model is $36,500. With an 8% sales tax, that brings it to about $39,420. So overall, this looks like a pretty good deal, especially with all the added features from the dealer.
Also, be aware of the risk of having $0 down on this purchase. If the car gets totaled, you might find the insurance payout doesn’t cover the balance of the loan. This might not matter if you have the funds to cover the difference or have gap insurance, but I wanted to mention it.
I find it funny that they list ‘ignition immobilizer’ as a feature. I thought that would just be a standard thing for any new vehicle by 2024. But with all the issues we’ve seen lately like with the Kia boys, I guess they feel the need to put it on the list
