My parent just Bought a 2025 Sport Hybrid 2WD under the Clean Cars for All program in Bay Area, CA for about $30k OTD. Here is the breakdown of the cost

They got a 2025 Honda CR-V Hybrid Sport 2WD in silver for $29,950 out the door. Seems like a good deal! They traded in their 1995 Camry and got $7,000 off through the Bay Area Clean Cars for All program after negotiating the car price to $34,000.

This is $37k OTD ($7000 trade-in). I was expecting to see $30k OTD excluding the trade, which seems too good to be true. How much discount was this off MSRP? Still a good deal though.

The deal includes a $7000 trade-in for a 1995 Camry.

Only $2000 off MSRP. Not many Honda dealers participate in this program in the Bay Area, so there are only 3 or 4 to work with.

@Peyton
I think the downvotes are because you said only $2000 off MSRP when most are paying $2000 above MSRP. It’s a really good deal, congrats!

I see. I wasn’t aware of that.

@Peyton
Just a guess as to why—noticed the downvote party on this comment lol. :man_shrugging:

@Peyton
Isn’t $2k off MSRP still pretty good?

I think so. I was hoping for $3k to $4k off.

I just looked up the program — pretty cool! Although it says they’re no longer allowing regular hybrids after this year; bummer. Congrats to your parents!

Nice, which dealer did you use? AutoNation Fremont flat-out told us they charge MSRP if you use the CCFA program.

Dude, I went there too. They said the same thing. So I went to Hayward. What trim are you looking for?

@Peyton
Cool, I’ll check them out.

We are looking at the Sport L trim. Would you recommend your sales rep?

He was good. His name is Sanchez Omar. Not pushy. Just reject all dealer-added options, and he will remove them. DM me for the number. Also, mention the partial sales tax exemption under the CCFA program for lower tax.

@Peyton
Thanks! I’ll reach out if my sales person isn’t budging. Congrats on the car!

Santa Rosa Manly Honda is offering $2500 off all CR-V hybrids, no questions asked. Ask for Ryan.

@Uri
Not all Honda dealers are participating in this program. I think only 3 to 4 in the whole Bay Area are doing it.

Mom’s sandals are very cute. :heart_eyes:

Most shocking part is they got $7000 for a 1995 Camry!

The CCFA program bought it back and gave the dealer a check. No sane dealer will give $7k for that Camry haha.
