Red or Blue CRV Sport-L? Plus, Is $42.9k OTD a Good Deal?

Hey everyone!

I just test-drove the 2025 CRV AWD Sport-L here in the Seattle area, and I’m still stuck between red or blue. The sticker price for both is $40,655, but I got a $2,650 discount through Costco, so the price comes down to $38,005.

With dealer doc fees ($200), title ($24), license ($550), and taxes, the total OTD is close to $42,900. They didn’t let me take the Costco pricing sheet, or I would’ve uploaded it for reference.

What do you think—$42.9k OTD sound fair for Seattle? And is it worth checking other dealerships? Also, leaning towards blue, but still can’t decide—any preferences on color?

Appreciate any advice!

Heey congratulations …am a big fan of red, but our new 24 Sport-L is Canyon River Blue, and we’re loving it. It’s a great color choice.

Blue’s the way to go! As for the price, $42.9k OTD with all those extras factored in is pretty fair for this trim and area. If you’ve got the time, maybe call one or two other dealers, but I wouldn’t expect a huge difference.

My 2024 Hybrid Sport L CRV is Midnight Pearl Blue, and it’s still turning heads after a year. I’ve never had a car get so many compliments on its color, even from strangers. Blue makes it easy to spot in a sea of boring black, gray, white, and silver cars.

Choosing blue was the best call I ever made. It looks amazing and is super easy to find in parking lots.

Red’s a great option if you want something that stands out a bit more. $42.9k OTD seems like a fair deal given all the fees included. If you’re happy with the overall package, I’d say go for it, but no harm in shopping around a bit more
