What is going on with my coolant leak?

I have a 2018 CR-V with 160,000 miles and it has a slow coolant leak. Sometimes the car goes into limp mode, especially at the start of a drive. I can fix it by turning the car off and on again. A mechanic checked it out but could not find anything wrong. I checked the coolant level and it was low, so I filled it up. The mechanic did a pressure test and found no leak. There are no signs of a leak in the driveway or any smells. He thinks it might be leaking into the turbo. I am wondering if a drop in coolant pressure could cause the limp mode to happen. I have a few questions. Is the mechanic’s explanation possible? How hard is it to fix a coolant leak in the turbo? Are there any other things I should consider?

When a car goes into limp mode it should show a code

That is the strange thing, I do not think it has shown a code. There are no warning lights either

It could be leaking into the turbo but it is weird there is no smoke or smell. A drop in pressure might cause limp mode but without clear signs I am not sure. Taking apart the turbo is not easy but it is not the hardest job either. If the mechanic is right you would have to pull it apart and check the seals and coolant lines. It could also be a small crack or a head gasket issue. If the coolant keeps leaking try a UV dye test to find the leak

Thanks for the help. This leak is very slow so that might be why I do not see any signs. The mechanic I went to does not want to touch it so I will have to go to another one
