I just want to share my experience with the ongoing warning messages I keep getting on my 2025 CRV Hybrid. Has anyone else faced similar issues?
I had to take my almost brand new CRV-EXL back to the dealership. The spool valve was bad.

That’s wild. I used to have a 2017 Civic and a 2011 CRV and never had any real problems.
@Davi
I had a 2009 that was rock solid. I traded it for a 2025, and now it’s not as tough, just quirky.
This happened to me too. My car started shaking really bad, and they said the rocker arm broke. It was only about 1,000 miles when I had it towed to Honda, and it’s been in the shop for 3 weeks now. Crazy right?
@Daryn
A broken rocker? Wow that’s not common for Honda. I’m keeping my 2.4 liter for life lol.
@Daryn
Yikes, guess I should be ready for anything.
@Daryn
That’s nuts. I could see this issue happening in an older model but not in a new 2025.
Could it be a lemon?

Maybe. In my state, it’s considered a lemon if the dealer can’t fix the same issue 4 times in the first year. I’m not quite there yet.
I had similar problems last month at around 14,400 km. Got a P0700 code with transmission and emissions warnings plus a check engine light. They replaced the injectors and now it’s alright. I have a 2024 Hybrid with a 2.0 4cyl engine.
Not too worried though since that’s what warranties are for. You should get a code reader; it’s a smart buy for any car owner. You’ll eliminate the runaround when visiting the dealership.
I know issues pop up because of engineering and supplier problems or just regular assembly issues. Companies often try to save money to boost profits, and it shows. I prefer companies that do fixes when problems arise or even issue voluntary recalls instead of waiting for forced ones.
Just like my kitchen appliances from over 20 years ago last longer than new models today, cars are made cheaper and packed with more electronics. Most issues take years to figure out, and you can’t exactly just go buy a reliable older model because of wear and tear.
Mine started shaking today too, but I haven’t seen any warning lights. I felt it while I was sitting at a stoplight, just a subtle shake like my 2015.

That’s how my emissions failure warning began (bad fuel injector).
@Davi
Great just what I needed.
It seems like Honda’s quality has really dropped with these new models.
The problem I faced with a code reader is it was hard to figure out which error code was the real issue. I found maybe a dozen codes when my CRV had a bad injector. I couldn’t tell which one was causing the problem. They all cleared up after replacing the injector.
@Vine
I had my injector replaced last week.
Did that fix the error?
Yes, it fixed the emissions warning. Now I’m stuck with transmission and power warnings.
