Can I Get a Better Deal on My New Ride?

They are offering me 1k less than MSRP for a total $39,665. Do you think I could get anymore off?

Depends on the dealership, but you might be able to push for a bit more. Ask for some extras like free oil changes or floor mats if they won’t budge on price. Every little bit counts!

I’d say try for another $500 off, especially if the car has been sitting on the lot for a while. Worst case, they say no, but it never hurts to ask!

Honestly, $1k under MSRP is already a solid deal these days, but if you’re feeling bold, you can try waiting until the end of the month. Dealers sometimes get more flexible when they’re trying to hit sales targets.

Depends on the demand for that model. If it’s a hot car right now, you might not get much more. But if it’s not flying off the lot, you can probably push them a little harder.

I was in the same boat a few months back and managed to get $1.5k off, but it took some back and forth. Be prepared to walk away if you’re not happy, and they’ll probably try to sweeten the deal

Try negotiating on the financing terms if they won’t drop the price any further. You might save more in the long run with a lower interest rate than a few hundred off the sticker price.

IMO …that actually seems fair
