Help! Can’t Find the Nut Lock Key for My Used Car

Hey everyone!
I bought a used car recently, and now I’m in a bit of a jam. I got a flat tire and my buddy helped me swap it out for the spare. But guess what? There’s a nut lock on the tire, and we can’t find the key anywhere in the car! We bought it from a dealer, and I have no clue where this lock came from. What should I do now?

Ugh, I’ve been there! You can try contacting the dealer to see if they have a record of the nut lock. They might have a key for it. Good luck!

If that doesn’t work, you can buy a nut lock removal kit at an auto parts store. Just be careful, so you don’t damage the wheel!

I had the same issue! I ended up using a socket wrench to get it off. It was a bit risky, but it worked for me! Just make sure to replace the nut lock afterward!

First off, take a deep breath! Sometimes the lock key is hidden in the glove compartment or under the spare tire. Check there first!

I’d recommend reaching out to a locksmith too. They can usually help with those locks. It might cost a little, but it’s better than being stuck!
