Injector Replacement Woes—Still Shaking?

Hey everyone, quick question. For those who’ve had their fuel injectors or spark plugs fail early, did you get just the bad ones replaced, or did they swap them all out? I just got my car back after getting one injector replaced, but it still feels like it’s stuttering/shaking when the engine starts. I shot an email to my Honda case manager to see if my plugs were checked. I’m worried because I know that if the injector isn’t delivering enough fuel, it can cause a lean mix, leading to overheating and possible spark plug failure. On the flip side, if the injector is stuck open, it could cause a rich mix, fouling the plugs and leading to misfiring.

This whole situation is a total nightmare.

That sounds rough! I had a similar issue, and they only replaced the one bad injector. Ended up going back a few weeks later because another one failed. If it still feels off, I’d push for them to check everything, including the plugs…As they always saay…better be safe than sorry.

Ugh, I feel you. When my injector went bad, they replaced just the faulty one. But I insisted they check the plugs too. Turns out one of them was already on its way out because of the injector issue. If I were you, I’d ask for a full inspection before it gets worse.

Yikes, sorry to hear about your troubles! When my spark plugs went bad, they did the whole set, not just the one. If it’s still shaking, that’s definitely a red flag. Might be worth getting a second opinion, especially if they only replaced one injector

Yooo…that’s indeed a nightmare for sure. My Honda had the same issue, and they just swapped the bad injector, but I had them check all the plugs too. They found one that was starting to go bad, so they replaced it. I’d definitely have them look at everything if it’s still acting up.

Yeah, been there! They only replaced the faulty injector on mine, but I made sure they checked the plugs as well. If you’re still feeling that stutter, it might be worth having them double-check. Could be something they missed or another injector starting to fail.
