Suggestions for Decent Sound Quality – Subs Coming Later

Hey everyone! I’m looking to upgrade my car’s sound system. I want something with good sound quality and decent loudness. I’m planning to install subs later, so bass isn’t a huge priority right now, but if it has a bit of punch, that’s a bonus. Any recommendations?

Hey man, I’d go with some components for your front speakers – brands like JL Audio or Alpine are solid for sound quality without breaking the bank. Since you’re adding subs later, these should give you crisp highs and mids

If bass isn’t the main thing for now, I’d say look into Infinity Kappa speakers. They’ve got great clarity and should hold up well even when the subs come in. Plus, they can handle some decent volume without distortion.

I’m with the others – components are the way to go if you’re serious about sound quality. Focal or Hertz have some really good options too. I wouldn’t worry too much about the bass for now since the subs will take care of that later.

I’d suggest looking at Pioneer or Kenwood for coaxial speakers. They’re budget-friendly but still deliver on clarity and loudness. You won’t get a ton of bass, but once you drop those subs in, you’re golden!

Rockford Fosgate is another brand you should consider. They offer a nice balance between sound quality and volume. They’ll sound great now, and once you add the subs, you’ll really feel the difference.
