40k isn’t a lot of money in today’s economy. It used to buy a luxury car in the late 90s early 00s, but today, it gets you a CR-V which isn’t considered luxury by any means.

Sure, but the point still stands that it’s available on other Honda models that aren’t “luxury” either. Honda definitely could’ve put it in the Touring at least.
@Kai
They rarely add major features like that until a redesign. Kinda like the 2009-2014 Escalade. In 2014 just about every luxury car had push to start, but the Escalade still had a key. Why? Because it was designed prior to 2009 for the 2009 body style, and that wasn’t a popular item back then. They addressed it in the new model when a new one came out in 2015. So maybe the update will be addressed next time or for the mid-model year refresh which would be the 2025 model.

The 2025 model is already out with no refresh. The refresh would come for 2026+.
That sucks. I wonder what the refresh is going to look like. I’m seriously considering the CR-V as a new work car. My '22 Insight is working just fine, but I think I want a little more space and easier in and out as the Insight is so low to the ground. I’ve had 45k trouble-free miles in the Insight though, and it saves me a good bit in gas over driving my family/weekend car.

Off topic, but I’ve always found that half digital display to be kinda odd. Why couldn’t it just be fully digital?
It is kind of weird, but I’ve gotten used to it. However, I wish the digital side was OLED, or something with a richer black color, so you don’t see such a defining line between the black digital screen and the black speedometer.

In the U.S. they have the Acura brand. They reserve the top-of-line tech features for their Acura products. Overseas they don’t have Acura, so they get the fully loaded car. Lexus and Toyota don’t do this type of shit.
